Much like partypoker Player Panel member Betrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Alan "Hotted" Widmann is a former professional gamer who has successfully made the transition into the world of poker.

It’s long been common for gamers to use Twitch, but Alan was one of the first poker pioneers, sharing his MTT journey on the platform. The Venezuelan quickly recognised the overlap in skillset between the two pursuits, most notably the ability to adapt to different situations. He therefore had no problem grasping the fundamentals of the game.
