Monika Zukowicz’s personable nature is perfect for the Twitch platform. The highly entertaining Pole openly shares her poker experience, offering practical advice and provoking discussion along the way.

Whilst studying, the pharmaceutical student became infected with the poker bug after winning a live freeroll - only learning the rules moments before taking to the felt. Instantly hooked, Monika drew inspiration from a friend who had forged a successful poker career and set about turning a hobby into something a little more serious.

Although not always serious - Monika loves to have fun with her Twitch followers. Too much fun at times. Becoming overly engrossed in a chat with her viewers, the Polish native once folded aces pre-flop on a live stream!

Now living in Malta, Monika successfully juggles time on the tables around her studies, whilst doing her best not to be distracted by the Mediterranean island’s glorious sunshine. Although predominately focused on cash games, the 27-year-old has travelled the world, cashing in high profile tournaments such as the Irish Poker Open and the MPN Poker Tour.

Monika has already achieved many of her goals, but there are some yet to be ticked off. Watch as she competes to establish herself at the NL400 level, as well as secure her first five-figure tournament score.
